Description
Discover the ancient tradition of Japanese incense with Kungyokudo Mimurodo Lotus Incense Sticks. For over 1,000 years, Japanese incense has been treasured for its purifying and calming properties, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship recognized worldwide.
Established in 1594 by Riemon Ouno near Hongwanji Temple in Kyoto, Kungyokudo has served the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Buddhist school for generations. Today, the 22nd-generation leaders Kazuo Ouno and Chihaya Ouno continue this legacy as Japan’s oldest incense manufacturer.
