This elegant lighting fixture is part of a tradition dating back to 16th century Gifu, gaining global acclaim through Isamu Noguchi’s Akari light sculptures.
Since 1949, Fores has specialized in creating premium interior products using authentic Gifu Mino Washi paper. Each pendant is meticulously crafted at their Suwa factory in the scenic Mino region, featuring an integrated production process that includes paper making, woodworking, painting, ironwork, and final assembly.
Key features include a standard black cord (with additional color options available at our showroom), E27 LED bulb (2700K warm white), and stunning design by renowned Japanese designer Rina Ono.
