This elegant lighting fixture showcases the centuries-old art of Gifu lantern making, popularized internationally by Isamu Noguchi’s Akari light sculptures.
Since 1949, Fores has been creating premium interior products using authentic Gifu Mino Washi paper. Each pendant lamp is meticulously crafted at their Suwa factory in the scenic Mino region, where they maintain an integrated production process encompassing paper making, woodworking, painting, ironwork, and final assembly.
Designed by acclaimed designer Rina Ono, this pendant features a warm 2700K E27 LED bulb and comes with a standard white cord. Custom cable colors and finishes are available through our showroom.
