Description
The art of lantern making in Gifu dates back to the 16th century. Gifu lanterns gained international recognition through Isamu Noguchi’s Akari light sculptures. Fores, established in 1949, continues this tradition by crafting premium interior products using Gifu Mino Washi paper. The Suwa factory, nestled in the scenic Mino region, integrates paper making, woodworking, painting, ironwork, and assembly under one roof.
This handcrafted pendant lamp features warm LED lighting and an elegant Japanese design, perfect for modern interiors. The original cord color is black, with additional cable color options and custom finishes available at our showroom.
All light purchases include E27 LED bulbs (2700K warm white).
